Tinubu returns to Abuja from two-week vacation

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from the United Kingdom after a two-week vacation.

He arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja at about 7:20 pm Saturday.

President Tinubu was received by Femi Gbajabiamila, his Chief of Staff; Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser; Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy; Abubakar Bagudu, the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning; Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor; and Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, among others.

Tinubu left the country for the U.K on a two-week leave on Wednesday, October 2, a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, had stated.

On October 11, President Tinubu left the United Kingdom for Paris in France for “an important engagement,” his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Masari, disclosed in a tweet.
