Seven-storey building catches fire in Lagos
A fire outbreak has destroyed part of a seven-storey commercial building belonging to AG Leventis, Iddo House, Iddo, via Oyingbo, Lagos.
The fire reportedly destroyed property worth millions of naira.
It was gathered that the fire started at about 11 a.m. and affected the archive room on the first floor, measuring approximately 108 square meters.
The building is being occupied by Nigeria Bottling Company Plc.
While investigations are ongoing, on the immediate and remote causes of the fire incident.
Margaret Adeseye, Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, confirmed the incident, noting that there were no casualties but valuable properties worth millions of naira were lost.
