
Ondo Govt declares public holiday
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has declared Monday, February 24, 2025, a public holiday in the state.
This was disclosed in a statement by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary.
The work-free day is to enable the people of the state to participate in the activities of the inauguration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy Governor Olayide Owolabi Adelami.
Meanwhile, Governor Aiyedatiwa has directed the cancellation of the restriction of movement on Saturday, 22nd of February 2025, during the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
While there will be no restriction of movement on Saturday, residents are still expected to clean their environment.
