Plateau Governor sacks five commissioners in major cabinet reshuffle

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has announced the immediate dismissal of five commissioners as part of a major cabinet reshuffle.

In a statement signed by Samuel Jatau, Secretary to the State Government, the affected commissioners include Chrysanthus Dawam (Budget and Economic Planning), Obed Goselle (Science and Technology), Jamila Tukur (Tourism, Culture and Hospitality), Noel Nkup (Youth and Sports Development), and Sule Musa (Commerce and Industry).

The governor also appointed replacements, naming Joyce Ramnap, Sunday Alex, Slyvanus Dongtoe, Nicolas Bamnong, and Cornelius Doeyok as the new commissioners for the respective ministries.

The Governor expressed appreciation to the outgoing commissioners for their contributions to the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.

Although the government did not provide specific reasons for the shake-up.
The newly appointed commissioners are expected to assume office immediately.
